- Alan Scott, Abin Sur, and Kilowog will all be a part of the series, although some won't survive. Those that do will be portrayed differently than you've seen before.

- The villain in the first arc is someone that's wrestled with GL before, and Superman isn't too fond of him either.

- The Guardians aren't just little blue men that complain about stuff. They'll actively be doing things and it's the Green Lantern's job to protect them while they work.

- There's a big connection between what Hal Jordon does for a living and the main plot behind the first story.
